Description:

The hemp’s fiber is usually made into long strands so you can produce textiles that are being fabricated to socks.

How it’s Made:

Hemp fibers and cotton fibers are blended together to make hemp socks.(1)

Advantages:

Hemp socks are super durable and three times stronger than cotton. It won’t develop odors because of its anti-bacterial properties.(2)

Disadvantages:

Because it not as popular as cotton, hemp cost’s a little more.(3)

History:

Hemp has been cultivated for over 10,000 years and is an important source of fiber to make clothes, papers, food etc. during ancient times.(4)

Looking to the Future:

Because of hemp’s sustainability and reduce used of synthetic materials can bring good to the environment now and in the future.(5)
